Whole Wheat Pizza- Perfect Recipe found!

Despite of pizza being a junk food, its popularity has never declined. From kids to adults everyone loves to feast on Pizza. But why every time it has to be a compromise between taste and Health?

A good news is that we can at least try to make a good combination of both, thereby giving a nice home made treat to our family. My first choice always remained a healthier option of the recipe I try and I managed to find a perfect one in this. 

This recipe by The DIY Mommy has given the best option of making Pizza a healthy treat.

The video is not very long but gives the perfect result. I am sharing the recipe below:

Ingredients:

1-1/2 cup warm Water

1 tsp Granulated Sugar

1 tbsp yeast

Mix above ingredients and set aside for 5 minutes

After the mix has become frothy add

1 tbsp olive Oil

1 tbsp Honey

1 tsp Salt

Mix everything and then slowly add 

3 -1/4 cup whole wheat flour 

Gradually mix the flour

After gathering the flour, start kneading it. Knead for atleast 10 minutes with stretch and pull method.

Now, let the dough rest for an hour by covering it with wrap in a warm place.

Now roll it into a shape that you desire , poke it with fork and put homemade pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, veggies and Italian seasoning on top of it and bake it @ 180 degree Celsius for about 15 min or depending on the kind of oven.

My tip : It will give the best result if you bake it first without toppings and sauce. After baking the pizza base add the sauce, veggies, cheese and Italian seasoning.

I would really advice you to try this one and find out for yourself the best way to make your kids happy.
